3rd Western Balkans Forum on Regional and Local Economic Development FoRLED 2018
On November 19th to 21 took place the Third Western Balkans Forum on Regional and Local Economic Development in the Albanian city of Vlorë, Albania The forum gathered more than twenty speakers out of 15 countries, among which academics and practitioners from Albania, the UK, Bulgaria, Sllovenia, Kosovo, Romania, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Spain in the Hotel Vlora International of Vlora.
The forum was honoured by the presence of the Albanian Prefect of Vlora Mr. Flamur Mamaj, Mayer of Vlora Mr. Dritan Leli, Mayer of Ura Vajgurore Mrs. Juliana Memaj and by the former president of the European Economic and Social Committee and honorary member of EAR-AER, Mr. Henri Malosse. The forum was organized by the Centre for European Policy Studies for Regional and Local Development in cooperation with the European Academy of Regions, the Ismail Qemali University of Vlorë, the Regional Council of Vlorë Region, Vlorë Municipality, Regional Youth Centre of Vlorë and took place under the auspices, support and strategic cooperation of many international, European and Western Balkan Organizations as such as OECD, Ersa, Western Balkans Network, RSA, etc.
The 2018 edition is supported by the Government of Flanders.
