CRLDS Participates in a Multi-Stakeholder Virtual Event within the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (HLPF 2026)

On 10 July 2026, the Center for European Policy Studies on Regional and Local Development (CRLDS Albania) had the pleasure of participating in a Multi-Stakeholder Virtual Event held in the framework of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (UN HLPF 2026), organised by AlterContacts.

The event entitled:

“Closing the Skills Gap for the 2030 Agenda: Lessons from EU Transnational Partnerships”

brought together stakeholders to explore how education, skills development, and multi-stakeholder partnerships can directly accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under review during HLPF 2026.

Five Erasmus+ projects funded by the European Union were presented as concrete and replicable examples of how transnational cooperation, knowledge exchange, and capacity building can contribute to more inclusive and sustainable societies.

For CRLDS, participation in this international dialogue represented a valuable opportunity to strengthen cooperation, exchange experiences, and identify new pathways for future partnerships within European and global initiatives.

As an organisation committed to regional and local development, multi-level governance, territorial cohesion, and community-driven approaches, CRLDS strongly believes that effective partnerships among public institutions, private actors, academia, and civil society are essential to achieving the ambitions of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Our participation in this international forum represents another step in CRLDS’ journey towards stronger engagement in global sustainable development platforms. We particularly value our cooperation with AlterContacts, a supporting partner in our journey towards UN accreditation and achieving ECOSOC Consultative Status, while strengthening CRLDS’ contribution to international dialogue on the 2030 Agenda.
